In God I trust

In God I trust. I am not afraid.

There are moments, days, weeks that just don't go the way we want them to. Storms rage and it can seem that, at every turn, there is another battle, another step in our journey that doesn't go as we had planned. It seems easy enough, that if we could just "let go and let God" as they say, everything would make sense, and everything would end up ok. But it isn't that easy.

In God I trust. I am not afraid.

God has a purpose for me, for you. The trials He places before us equips us for the next battle, the next storm. The storms may be brutal and tragic. But He commands us to be strong and courageous, to not be terrified and not be discouraged, for He loves us and will be with us wherever we go. Joshua 1:9

In God I trust. I am not afraid.

We must lift our fears, anxieties and praises to Him in prayer and thanksgiving. This is how He works within us, to take our burdens away and lift them from our hearts. If we trust in His plan, He will not forsake us. He is with us, always. His plan was laid for us before we were formed. “I have called you by name, you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1

The pain we feel that brings us to our knees draws our hearts closer to God. Use that opportunity to allow Him to work within you, to pray to Him and glorify Him.

Nothing upsets the devil more!

In God I trust. I am not afraid.

His words remain true in my heart. As it was on the day our Lord and Savior was crucified, "It is finished", Jesus won the race. There is no work left for you to do yet to believe and proclaim His glory. We have been given the triumph of the cross. In all things, give thanks, and know that His plan for you is greater than you could ever imagine. In every trial and circumstance, He's holding you in the palm of His hand.

Trust in Him, and never, ever fear. For He is with you, and will never forsake you.
