Many of you have heard the worship song "Way Maker" by Leeland. The words of the chorus so wonderfully speak of WHO God is:
You are Way Maker Miracle Worker Promise Keeper Light in the darkness My God, that is who You are When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." -John 8:12
The words of the bridge of the song perfectly describe that even when we can't see or feel God working, He's doing just that:
Even when I don't see it, You're working Even when I don't feel it, You're working You never stop, You never stop working
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. -Romans 8:28
Lord, you are a Way Maker and Miracle Worker. You keep Your promises. Please bring hope and healing to our communities and our world. You are the light in the darkness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
